Site Review: Cams.com
Cams.com is one of the first, and probably most popular live cam sites on the Internet today. They have been around for over 10 years, and have built up a huge fan base. This used to be one of our favorite sites, but they have slipped a little over the past year or two, and so have dropped down a little bit in our opinion. They have over 15,000 performers, and at any given time of the day there are between 300-500 of them available to choose from for chat. It’s FREE to become a Member, and their Free Chat is really FREE. You do have to do a paid sign-up to go into Private Nude Chat, or use any other features on this site. So, functionality is a little bit limited until you become a paid member. However, it’s also kind of nice, because you don’t have all the free-loaders clogging up the chat rooms.
Basically, when you enter the site, you will see that it is broken down into 3 sections, Free Chat, New Performers, and Live Nude Chat. You can preview performers Bio Pages, or enter a chat room right from the main screen. You can refine your search a little bit by selecting some basic categories at the top of the page, and then clicking on the “Search” button. This adds some functionality to the site, but it is pretty limited compared to some of the other cam sites out there, but there is still a lot to offer here.
One thing that Cams.com does do better than almost everybody else is to provide nice, clean Performer Bio Pages. The pages contain the usual information, like turn-ons, stats, and a few pics from a recent live cam show. It also contains Members Ratings of the performers live shows. This is a great feature, because you can get a real feel for how well other people liked a performer, and also a rating for if they would ANOTHER show with that performer. We like this her at LNC, because it says a lot to us about how well the performer tried to satisfy the members needs.
Overall, Cams.com is still one of the best cam sites around, with pretty reasonable rates. When you are ready for a show, you can buy time in blocks, ranging from $25.oo up to $100.00, and they take Visa, Mastercard, and Discover. Most of the performers charge $1.99 per minute, which is even cheaper than many phone sex sites nowadays.
